Sam is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament organizer from British Columbia. She was best known for her work for Galint Gaming, as the team's VIP Manager, and worked as a director for the Battle of BC tournament series. In particular, she was responsible for inviting many international players, especially from Japan, to attend Battle of BC 5's Ultimate event, resulting in the Pacific Northwest's first P-tier event. Although Sam ceased her work with Galint partway through work on Battle of BC 6, she is also responsible for the event's similarly large roster of JP talent.
Outside of Battle of BC, Sam has worked for a number of major tournaments, and is considered to have systematized the role of "hospitality/VIP management" as a formal position in Smash tournament organization. She has worked this role for many major events, most notably Apex 2022, Smash World Tour 2022, Rise 'N Grind 2023, Super Smash Con 2023, Luminosity Makes Moves Miami 2024, Supernova 2024, GENESIS X2, and LVL UP EXPO 2025, among others. Sam also conceptualized the PNW's premier invitational series, Cascadia Clash, and directed both of its iterations.
In addition to event organization and management, Sam is a Steve player in Ultimate and was ranked as high as 7th on the British Columbia Power Rankings, with notable wins over players such as Jogibu at Get On My Level X, Toriguri at UBC's Battle of BC 6 Pre-Local, and Maipan at KOWLOON 9 with Sumabato. She also holds wins over several of British Columbia's best players, such as Big D, Lemmon, and Captain L.
Previously, she worked as a freelance talent manager for both Onin and Ouch!?. During this time, she organized Out of Pocket for Onin's birthday, the name being a reference to their old tag, Pocket.

Trivia[edit]
- While responsible for arranging his North American debut at Battle of BC 6, Sam was also the first non-JP player to win a bracket set against Toriguri, which happened at the prelocal event.
- Outside of Smash, Sam is a hobbyist collector of games and arcade cabinets. Presently, she owns 75 arcade cabinets, many of which she has refurbished herself.
- In secondary school, Sam founded a collegiate smash league (MVSSEA) in the greater Vancouver area. This league was responsible for the introduction of many younger players into BC's local scene, most notably Ouch!?.
- Sam is of Peruvian descent.
- She is credited as having pioneered "The Sam", a Steve-specific ledgetrapping technique wherein the player places TNT at ledge, then reads the opponent's jump with a B-Air.
- While not technically a bracket set, Sam does hold a try-hard BO3 win over Ouch!? from Thug Finals of Out of Pocket.
