Hitbox visualization showing Peach's first jab.

Overview[edit]

The first hit of Peach's neutral attack is a inward hand slap further from the camera that deals 2% damage.

This attack comes out very quickly on frame 2, allowing it to interrupt many attacks with slower startups. Its speed also allows it to combo from her down tilt or neutral aerial at very low percentages.

After landing this attack, it is strongly recommended to immediately follow up with the second hit, as the second hit is the only follow up attack that can true combo from the first hit. At best, the first hit of Peach's neutral attack is -10 on hit before it is interruptible. If Peach attempts to use any other attack as a follow up from the first hit of neutral attack, an opponent can either escape or use a quick attack as a punish.

Due to having mainly vertical knockback, this attack cannot be used to perform a jab reset.
