The Gimvitational is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate invitational held in Laurel, Maryland, from June 16th-19th, 2022. The tournament was announced following GimR's presentation on the slingshot technique and features a Summit-esque voting style, where 20% of all donations and shop profits will be added to a "Player Fund," a fund that returns a percentage of money to those who make it into the nomination phase. The tournament will also experiment with a hazards-on ruleset.
