Talk:Mr. Saturn
Is there a chance that a Mr. Saturn might explode? In the Smash Fighter short Who Dun It, a Mr. Saturn exploded on Falco. Wolf explained there is a chance of exploding. He had seen a lot of Mr. Saturns before that. However, this article doesn't mention exploding.--SeanWheeler (talk) 21:51, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
- What you saw was most likely a hack. Or, you might have confused Mr. Saturn with a Bob-omb, creatures that DO explode. One can hack a game to change the effects of items. BNK [E|T|C] 22:02, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
Saturn v. Everyone
Since it's a major part of his its(?) schtick as an item (and it's mentioned a lot), shouldn't this article include Shield Breaking data for all Mr. Saturn throws in both games? Probably in the table already present... --Oasidu (talk) 00:46, 7 November 2013 (EST)
- Yeah it should. It doesn't matter which throw is used though, only normal damage changes based on velocity, not extra shield damage. Toomai Glittershine The Engineer 10:06, 7 November 2013 (EST)
Infobox image
How is the spirit/sticker image unofficial? The only difference between it and the infobox image is the model being shown on a different angle. Otherwise, the model itself is identical on both of them. Nokii — 17:46, October 12, 2019 (EDT)
- We tend not to use spirit renders as the character renders in infoboxes. The model may look similar but that doesn't change this. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 17:49, October 12, 2019 (EDT)
- More or less comes down to: if there's existing artwork that's higher quality than the spirit, we use that, but if there isn't (like for Excitebike or Saki Amamiya), we use the spirit. ~ Serena Strawberry (talk) 19:33, October 12, 2019 (EDT)
- Huh, now that got me thinking... Ness's infobox image is his spirit render so should that be changed? SupαToαd64, the Best 04:51, October 15, 2019 (EDT)
