The no knockback part could be disputable; there is evidence that caping a Fox/Falco near the end of his side B (recovery) with stun him, while he *should* be in landfallspeciallag. annoying1359 02:47, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Melee-Brawl Changes

Something i've noticed: in Melee, the cape caused Mario to bounce forward slightly. This effect seems to have been removed in Brawl, although it still slows his fall.

Missing Techniques

The Cape has more usages than are listed here. There are ones such as the reverse cape glide and the cape boost/meta knight insta-kill/NO CAPES (as I like to call it). Would somebody please add them and other techniques. 96.251.166.202 23:45, 6 August 2013 (EDT)

Why won't you do it? Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 03:10, 7 August 2013 (EDT)

Cape jump glitch

Is this really a glitch? Looks like it's just some physics exploit. The glitch has also appeared in both games, so it's unlikely to be an error on the programmers' part. GreenMarioBrawlHead.png Green Mario 19:57, 15 January 2014 (EST)

About Mario's Shocking Cape...

Maybe either they've updated it or it just wasn't that noticeable to me, but Mario's Shocking Cape can stall him in mid-air, it's probably not as effective as the default and Gust Cape due to moving slower and having more end lag than the other two specials.

Backwards Cape/Super Sheet (and their custom move in Super Smash Bros. 4, Gust Cape)

I've noticed in-game that Mario and Dr. Mario can reflect projectiles from behind them when using their respective side specials. It just requires more precise timing than using it in front of them. It doesn't nullify projectiles with the Shocking Cape/Sheet. Could someone confirm that this is possible in previous Super Smash Bros. games where they can use it?

Characters facing the background

This article says that in Ultimate using Cape is the only way to let characters with mirrored stances to face the background without using glitches, BUT have you found any glitches in Ultimate that can cause characters with mirrored stances to face the background?

Split

The Super Sheet should be separated from the Cape. Not only does it have a different name, it has enough differences from the Cape to warrant its own page. Plus, it would coincide with the Gale Boomerang, Silver Bow, and Electroshock Arm pages. (Each recently decided to be their own pages) If these differently named moves had enough differences to have their own pages, I believe the Super Sheet does too. It been over a week. If no one appears to oppose the notion, should I just separate them? Wolff (talk) 21:24, April 28, 2019 (EDT)
