KoRoBeNiKi is an American smasher from New Jersey. He is mostly known for being one of the more active original Super Smash Bros. players. In this game, he uses Yoshi as a main and Captain Falcon as a secondary. He is a Pro-Amateur in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl, maining Luigi and Ganondorf in Melee and maining Luigi and Mr. Game and Watch in Brawl. He is a member of the the once top online crew, Prodigies of Premium Smash.

Super Smash Bros. Online

Around fall of 2006, KoRoBeNiKi was told about online Super Smash Bros. by MattNF. At the start, he had some trouble getting used to the game. He started out using Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Donkey Kong but he did not short hop and was overall a below average player.

The Better Days

During January 2007, SuperBoomFan allowed him to join Prodigies of Premium Smash (though, it was mostly because of being a Falcon user and a friend of MattNF). He was the 4th or 5th player to join the clan and joined around the same time as Fireblaster. KoRo started to main Yoshi after barely losing a Yoshi only tournament to the top Yoshi main at that time.

Recent Super Smash Bros.

KoRoBeNiKi still plays Super Smash Bros against challengers to this day. Many people consider him to be one of the best Yoshi's online along with SheerMadness, Frogles, ShootingStarKing/The Star King, and th3kuzinator. Like in all other Smash games, he has a primary weakness. In this game, it would be a top Mario user or a top Kirby player. The tornado on Hyrule Castle is KoRoBeNiKi's other main weakness as he tends to be always comboed into the "nado", as he calls it himself. His least favorite low tier matchup is Yoshi vs DK or Yoshi vs Luigi. He actually likes playing vs Pikachu and Fox regardless of their tier placement. Super Smash Bros. is KoRoBeNiKi's favorite Smash game.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

At the start, KoRoBeNiKi used Roy and Luigi. Currently, Ganondorf and Luigi are his main characters with Captain Falcon and Peach as a secondary.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

KoRoBeNiKi bought Brawl a few days after it was released. He primarily mains Luigi, due to Luigi being his main in Melee, and liking the fact that Luigi can combo heavily in a non-combo heavy game. He uses Marth for battling a Falco player, and uses Mr. Game and Watch when playing in the Rainbow Cruise stage. In low-tier tournaments, his mains are Captain Falcon and Mario. He did main Ness in these tournaments before Ness was moved into a different sector of the tier list.

Online ladders

On SBR when KoRoBeNiKi played there, his rank was between 50 and 100 out of the around 1300 ranked people before he stopped going there when the doubles ladder was never made. On the earlier AiB ladders, KoRo placed around the top 200 to 300 people. In the most recent ladders, he hasn't had as much success and as of now he is very rarely playing Wi-Fi Brawls.

KoRoBeNiKi, similar to other AiB members to show that GB was a joke, entered the Brawl ladder for Gamebattles as well. He got to the top 10 places very easily using secondaries. KoRo has been banned from the GB forums due to advertising AllisBrawl.

Fatal 5

Originally, KoRo was a member of the highly ranked online brawl clan Fatal 5. Fatal 5 includes such people as Tapion, PhantomX, Sonic Ghost, and Izaw. KoRo used all characters and was one of F5's Brawl testers. His tests were rigorous but at the same time relaxed. He had participated in many clan wars usually taking out 3-5 stocks per battle depending on the strength of the opposing crew/matchup. He was the other final tester besides Near and participates as a starter in all clan wars, usually being sent in to deal with Snake users. Around 6 months ago, KoRo quit Fatal 5 as the community became too stagnant. He quit around the same time the entire Brawl division fell apart and people left to various clans or quit Brawl wifi. Examples of this include KoRo himself who quit F5 and joined the Street Brawlas, one of the top Brawl online clans. He very rarely appeared however and more recently, the clan was disbanded.

Teams

KoRoBeNiKi prefers teams over singles. He uses Falcon as a main for doubles in Super Smash Bros. as he does not consider Yoshi that good in Super Smash Bros. In low tier doubles, KoRoBeNiKi mains Samus and DK.
