Ganondorf (SSB4)/Neutral special/Custom 2

This article is about the hitbox visualization in Super Smash Bros. 4. For the move itself, see Warlock Thrust.

OverviewEdit

Ganondorf winds up much faster than with his default Warlock Punch and then thrusts forward to create a darkness-fueled explosion. Warlock Thrust is the weaker variant of Warlock Punch, not dealing any worthwhile damage or knockback to offset its slow speed. The grounded and aerial versions deal the same damage, setting the move further apart from its siblings. While the outer hitbox is massive, it and the smaller sweetspot are unable to K.O. until 300% or more. It also lacks the Super Armor the other 2 variants have, reducing its utility to call out aggressive options.

Because of these flaws, Warlock Thrust is considered Ganondorf's worst neutral special and is never picked before Warlock Punch or Warlock Blade.
