Spare Change is the 5th event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The player controls Ness, who must win an 80 second Coin Battle against a CPU Captain Falcon on the Onett stage. The CPU Captain Falcon's artificial intelligence is set at Level 5.
When the match starts, Ness will spawn on the lower red roof platform left of the center of the stage, while Captain Falcon spawns on the blue rooftop platform right of the center.
