2GGT was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament series held on a monthly/bi-monthly basis, mainly in Southern California. First held in December 2015, it is organized and directed by Champ and the 2GGaming team. Each event is dedicated towards a particular player or a group of players that are flown out to compete. 2GGT is largely praised due to the overall efficiency and quality of the tournaments: despite many of them housing well over 300 entrants, singles, doubles and side events were hosted from start to finish in a single day with no time constraints. It quickly grew in popularity since its inception, having hosted some of the largest tournaments for Smash 4 of all time.
On December 18th, 2016, following 2GGT: ZeRo Saga, tournament director and 2GG crew member Champ announced the rebranding of 2GGT as 2GGC, or 2GG Championship Series.

Trivia
- 2GGT's namesake is a reference to Dragon Ball GT, and as such, its main logo is also inspired by it, and each event typically follows a "[featured player] Saga" nomenclature, much like Dragon Ball's own naming convention for each saga.
