The Renaissance of Smash 2 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee regional tournament held by Helios during June 30th-July 3rd, 2005, in Ubbhult, Sweden.
This tournament was Armada's first tournament appearance ever, at the age of 11 years old.

Starters: Final Destination, Dream Land, Yoshi's Story, Pokémon Stadium, Fountain of Dreams Banned: Flat Zone, Big Blue, Temple, Great Bay, Yoshi's Island 64, Brinstar Depths, Fourside, Icicle Mountain, Mushroom Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom II Counterpicks: All 15 other stages
The documentation implies that Battlefield was a counterpick instead of a starter, and that both singles and doubles shared a stagelist.
Stage striking was not allowed, and a losing player was allowed the option between counterpicking either a stage or a character, but not both. If they chose to change characters, the next stage would revert to a random starter.
