Beedrill makes a second appearance in the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series in [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]].  This time, it is no longer a [[Poké Ball]] [[Pokémon]]; instead, its only contribution to the game is as a [[trophy]].  Beedrill has a "spiritual successor" of sorts in the Pokémon [[Unown]], whose attack is very similar to Beedrill's.

Beedrill (スピアー, Supiā, Spear in original Japanese language versions) is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.

Character description

Beedrill is a large, hornet-like Pokémon. It is one of the original 151 Pokémon that appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue. Its body resembles that of a hornet, with large butterfly wings and lance-shaped arms.
