Trophy Tussle 1 (フィギュア上の戦い１, Battle on Figure 1) is the 14th of the 51 event matches and the first of three Trophy Tussle events in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The player controls a fighter of their choice and must win a 3-minute, 2-stock free-for-all match against three random fighters atop a giant version of the Goomba trophy. One CPU opponent's artificial intelligence is set to Level 2, while the other two are set to Level 3.
When the match begins, the player spawns on the Goomba's left eyebrow, while the first CPU spawns on the left side of its head, the second atop its head, and the third next to its right eyebrow. Fighters can grab an invisible ledge near the base of the trophy and stand on the empty corner beside it.
Clearing this event match will reward the player with the Goomba trophy.
