Smash Factor 5 was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U national and a Super Smash Bros. Melee super regional tournament held by Smash Factor in Puebla, Mexico, during July 29th to 31st, 2016. It was the largest Mexican Smash tournament of all time until it was surpassed by Smash Factor 8 in 2019. The tournament featured out-of-country players such as n0ne and HugS for Melee and Dabuz, Keitaro and Mr. R for Smash 4, the latter making his second consecutive attendance to the tournament series.
