Cleanup[edit]

This article needs cleaning up. First of all, the planet the Pleiades flies over is Corneria, not a "blue planet"! Just because Leon calls it a "blue planet" doesn't mean it isn't Corneria. Peppy calls it by its name, and I think that should be enough. Fix it.

Secondly, I believe there are a few minor errors in the transcription of what is actually said. I would edit this article more if I could, but I'm in a crunch for time. I expect much work to be done here over the next few days! Dogman15 (talk) 20:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

The final trivia is pointing out that Panther says "red nose" while he has a "black nose" (?). In the game, he actually says "red rose", making this trivia irrelevant.

Not that the first title was great[edit]

...but why is this title better? I'd probably use the term "Smash Taunt" in there somewhere instead of "secret taunt". Miles (talk) 02:04, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

The word secret is there to let the reader know that this taunt is entirely hidden. BNK [E|T|C] 02:09, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
Not to be crass, but why does that matter? Miles (talk) 02:24, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
It's informative! BNK [E|T|C] 02:51, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
...can we just get some other opinions on this plz kthx Miles (talk) 03:04, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
But... I like this title... >:I BNK [E|T|C] 03:15, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
I think "Star Fox Smash Taunts" should be the title. (And "Snake's Smash Taunt" should be this one's.) Toomai Glittershine Toomai.png The Table Designer 12:39, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
Where does the word Smash come from, and what does it symbolize? Codec is the official name of Snake's taunt, so yeah. BNK [E|T|C] 15:42, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

Easter Egg?[edit]

Would the Smash Taunt be considered an Easter egg? It clearly states in the caption for the picture,"Peppy Hare is one of the Star Fox series characters present in this easter egg." Just need to clear things up. FireMario1534 (talk) 23:47, 13 November 2013 (EST)

This article refers the taunt as an Easter Egg. The Easter Egg article mentions this taunt. What else should be done? JamesJH-Heartless.pngHeart 23:52, 13 November 2013 (EST)

Character voices in Ultimate[edit]

Ultimate credits the voice actors of Slippy and Peppy from Smash 4, despite Orbital Gate Assault not returning. Where are their voices used then? Rdrfc (talk) 09:56, August 21, 2019 (EDT)

Anywhere where the Star Fox Smash Taunt can be used, like Venom and Lylat. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 10:26, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
You mean Lyssa Browne and Jaz Adams? Aidan, the Rurouni 11:54, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
Yes, them. The problem is that actors for all past games are credited in Ultimate, so if they re-recorded the conversations with the SSB4/Star Fox Zero cast then that doesn't explain why the Melee and Brawl actors are credited instead (except Brawl Slippy). Rdrfc (talk) 12:03, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
Melee and Brawl Star Fox voices are credited because of Corneria and Lylat Cruise (and also Snake's codecs). Not sure why the Smash 4 voices are credited, though it may be (and this is just speculation) a sign that OGA was going to return at some point, and they just overlooked it. Aidan, the Rurouni 12:05, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
I see, so we are totally sure none of the conversations were re-recorded, right? Rdrfc (talk) 12:52, August 21, 2019 (EDT)

(Reset indent) Correct, none of the conversations were rerecorded. The Stair Fax Temperatures and Star Fox Assault cast can still be heard on their respective stages. Aidan, the Rurouni 14:36, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
