Move to Alolan Exeggutor[edit]

I suppose it could be moved to Alolan Exeggutor, and the same would go for Alolan Raichu as well, so I support the move. SSB4DarkSonicHead.pngSpeed48 15:38, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

EDIT: Okay after thinking about it, I change my vote to wait for the same reasons below. SSB4DarkSonicHead.pngSpeed48 15:59, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

Slight oppose, primarily in that we do have Vulpix as an instance of needing to cover both standard and Alolan versions; the alternative would be either inconsistent or require splitting Vulpix's page, which both seem undesirable to me. Miles (talk) 15:41, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

Wait: As per consensus on moving articles until the game is released, like Kongo Jungle. The game isn't out yet to know for sure. VoqéoT 15:45, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

Don't care either way: What difference does it make? Either way it's the same article; whichever one we don't use will be a redirect, right? Unowninator (talk) 17:04, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

Wait until release. For personal use. George Jones Walls Can Fall.jpg 22:33, 13 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose, because even before we discovered that the regular Vulpix was going to be in the game, it was looking like we would just name the page normally instead of calling it Alolan. Vulpix is in the same (well similar) boat as this. I'm fine if we want to just go with a base Exeggutor, by the way, I just wanted to throw it out there. Serpent SKSig.png King 22:56, 16 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose for BV's reasons. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Sonic Fan Leave a message if needed 19:02, 16 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose. I don't see a reason to put the extra word in there to describe a Pokemon as it will look odd. I mean Mega Charizard X and Mega Lucario are there but those are the names for Final Smashes so it makes sense there. MHStarCraft 60% tech skill, 30% crazy, 10% you name it. :P 23:36, 17 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose I opposed this before (when I made Vulpix and Raichu's pages), and I'll oppose it again: the Pokémon is the same, it just looks different. An Exeggutor is an Exeggutor, no matter how tall it may be. Aidan, the College-Bound Rurouni 23:56, 17 August 2018 (EDT)

Move It's called Alolan Exeggutor in both the direct and on the official site. IPs and non-users coming to this page are going to be looking for us to reflect that accuracy. There's no reason to get lazy on one word. As a follow-up, we should split the Vulpix pages as well. Nergal06 (talk) 01:53, 18 August 2018 (EDT)

We've already decided not to move Vulpix, we're not going to change the decision without something new being brought to the table. The fact that a normal Vulpix is in the game is also another reason not to move. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 04:35, 18 August 2018 (EDT)
In that case, no reason to change the formula. A redirect is good enough. Nergal06 (talk) 18:17, 18 August 2018 (EDT)

Oppose What if there's a trophy for a normal Exeggutor? Then we'd need to change it back. Just keep it in line with the others. Dakota 952 05:35, 18 August 2018 (EDT)
