JY is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry player from Kantō, considered one of the best Terry players in Japan. He was initially known for a variety of successful performances at superregionals, primarily his 5th-place finish at WAVE Champions 6, where he defeated Eik, Toriguri, and Akakikusu, and his 5th-place finish at KOWLOON 17, where he defeated Raki. He found decent success at majors, occasionally taking sets over globally-ranked Japanese players, but properly broke out at DELTA x Seibugeki Open, where he finished 13th after defeating KEN and Mild na H.O.
