Kansai 2017 (or 10th Kansai) was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held in the Kansai region of Japan. There were 57 entrants, and Top 8 was streamed live on Nico Nico. Due to Japanese customs/rules, there was no prize fund.
Non-Japanese players tacos, Madrush21, and Preston attended the tournament; however, only tacos was able to advance from pools, and went 1-2 in bracket (losing to gyaki in winners and Yu-Kun in losers). However, Tacos did obtain a win over Wangera in pools.
