meipon ia Japanese player who is considered to be the best Samus player in Smash 64 following Jouske's recent inactivity/retirement.

His first American tournament was at Super Smash Con 2019 where he got 17th in singles which was the highest placement of any low tier main after passing division 2 brackets and making it through Division 1 by winning vs Stranded's Yoshi, blondekid, Qapples, and DarkHorse before finally losing to Wizzrobe and Shalaka in a close match. He also got 5th in doubles with maha.
