Although popularly known as one of the premier Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournaments in Japan, it also featured Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournaments. The tournament for the latter game was made famous in part to Ganbaranai's outstanding performance with Villager, in which after being sent to the losers bracket early on by Choco, he made his way to the grand finals, eliminating Nietono, Brood, Earth and RAIN, and defeated Komorikiri 4-0 to take the victory.
