Souther (サウザー) is a Kansai Smasher. He was first active in Super Smash Bros. Melee before finding greater success in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where he played Snake. He was not only one of the best Japanese players in Brawl's early years, but also one of the best Snake players during that time as well. He was notably the first Brawl Snake player to win a major, doing so at KetubatoX 2, and has also won KetubatoX 4. Though he never won a major after KetubatoX 4, he remained a hidden boss in Japan, regularly placing in the single digits.
Outside of Brawl, Souther found some early success in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, playing Captain Falcon and defeating players such as Nietono and Gomamugicha at KSB 2015. He stopped regularly competing around 2017, though he would later return to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the 2020s.
