However I don't agree with prioritize the usage of the term in casual play, we still should keep it mainly as the technical definition, for example we don't use "[[spike]]" to mean a downwards attack in all games, and instead as the technical definition (a downwards attack that cannot be meteor canceled), whereas casuals use spike and [[meteor smash]] interchangeably. Missing Techniques?

Shouldn't Snake's Knee Lock and Down throw and the Ice Climber's chain grabs be on this page or are they neglected for even the slightest possibility of escape? 71.189.88.37 20:58, 11 August 2013 (EDT)

Ice Climbers chain throws are technically infinites (and thus should be on the infinite page), and same for the theoretical possibilities of Snake's knee lock and down throw shenanigans (even then they're not notable, as besides being unsure if knee lock can actually work, it's easily SDI'd out of, and pretty much no one is going to pull the insane amount of consecutive reads needed to get a 0-death with a Snake down throw chain). Never seen this. Not sure if this works, if you consider opponent's DI and escaping out. I doubt that it would work on Greninja since it can Shadow Sneak hitstun cancel out of it. Luigi540 (talk) 22:07, 23 May 2016 (EDT)
I slowed the video down. After I watched it, I don't think this is true. It looks like Donkey Kong tried to midair jump before getting hit. Even if you hit them out of their midair jump, some character have a fast aerial attack to hit you out. Luigi540 (talk) 22:15, 23 May 2016 (EDT)

I put the video in 0.25 speed and I am pretty sure that Donkey Kong did a Nair (which is hits on frame 10). So a faster option like airdodging would likely allow him to escape. Zero-to-death casual use definition

I was discussing the definition with a few members on the subreddit and discord and we determined the most common use of the term is the casual use that doesn't necessarily refer to an inescapable combo, but instead a series of hits that takes the opponent from 0% to being KOed without getting hit themselves. A user disagreed, and when I edited the wiki they edited it back. I'm not looking to get into an edit war, what are y'all thoughts? Is the casual definition worth having on the page?
