If you mean "why does the article refer to him as a 'he'", then it's because Nintendo does. It's not like Pokemon, where Nintendo says "gender or no gender, Pokemon are 'it's". Yoshi is referred to as male in various sources. Toomai Glittershine eXemplary Logic 03:18, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
