What about the Dual Reverse Hyrule Temple Jump? Should it be added to the wiki? [1] Rhetticus (talk) 05:29, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Quick question - can anybody besides Mewtwo and Jigglypuff complete the reverse Hyrule Jump? technically, Peach, Link and Young Link can by bombing themselves at very high damage. Can Peach reach the edge without bombs? Samus at all? --MaskedMarth 15:28, October 17, 2006 (GMT)

Samus can do it using the Saturn Stairway. I dunno about anyone else. --nealdt 18:12, October 17, 2006 (GMT)
How can Peach do it? And what's the Saturn Stairway? Oh and Luigi can in doubles with the Luigi Ladder. Hmm.. should we make pages for individual techniques? Or specific combos, even?
Luigi and Kirby can be seen doing the reverse hyrule jump [2]

OK guys, it's two years later but Melee still exists, so let's not take out such references from the article. MaskedMarth (t c) 05:23, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

SSBB Reverse Hyrule Jump w/ Fox[edit]

At 2:33 in this video Fox did the Reverse Hyrule Jump.[3] 84.92.35.200 07:30, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

That was really cool. I'll add that in. Awesome Cardinal 2000 07:38, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

Charizard's Full Circle Jump[edit]

Can he really perform the jump? He only has one glide, and I don't think he has enough midair jumps to go across the top part of the stage. Awesome Cardinal 2000 07:44, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

Pretty sure he can only do it halfway. 84.92.35.200 11:41, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

Actually it is possible although a bit difficult to do. Try it a few times and I'm sure you can get it as I did. BRAWLS BoFSig.png OF BoFSig.pngFURY 13:14, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

How is it possible? Charizard can only glide once and you can't turn back while gliding (as such, Charizard's glide can only carry him past the bottom part), and his remaining midair jump and fly have no way of getting him past the whole top part. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 13:28, 13 April 2013 (EDT)
It appears I was performing the wrong jump. BRAWLS BoFSig.png OF BoFSig.pngFURY 13:38, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

SSBB Fox Down Under Jump[edit]

Can someone show me video proof of Fox doing the Down Under Jump in Brawl? I've never been able to do it and he didn't do it in the video I posted where he did the Reverse Hyrule Jump. 84.92.35.200 12:02, 13 April 2013 (EDT)

SSBM Ness Down Under Jump[edit]

I managed to do the Down Under Jump in SSBM using Ness, I don't have video proof or anything but I actually did do it, so I'm adding him to the list

If that's the case, you can't just say "I did it so add it." Video proof is needed for something like this, as these jumps have been wel documented for years. In abscense of video, give very specific instructions, and someone here can try to recreate it. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 12:42, 14 May 2013 (EDT)
No video proof, but I did it by midair jumping under the spike, then get up with PK Thunder, you have to control the thunderbolt so it goes right and around, then hits Ness from behind so that he goes northeast. It's very hard to do but it is possible.84.92.35.200 11:13, 16 May 2013 (EDT)

Can these guys perform the jump?[edit]

Just to be sure, how exactly can Mario, Yoshi, Fox, Captain Falcon, Sheik, Marth, and Ike perform the Down Under Jump without any items? I've tried it as all of the aforementioned characters, but I couldn't do it with any of them. Could someone please verify if any of these characters can perform the jump? Please note that this is for Brawl, not Melee. 71.105.121.171 19:26, 16 September 2013 (EDT)

Mario and Captain Falcon can perform it using a wall jump. Yoshi can perform it by simply using midair jump then Egg Throw. Marth can perform it by using Dancing Blade right after his midair jump, then Dolphin Slash. I'm not sure if Sheik can perform it, and I don't think Fox and Ike can. Scr7Scr7 sig.png(talk · contribs) 11:34, 17 September 2013 (EDT)

OK, so we just need proof that Fox, Sheik, and Ike can perform the jump. Otherwise they will be removed. Thanks for explaining all of the other characters, Scr7. 71.105.121.171 17:07, 17 September 2013 (EDT)

I'm not able to perform it with Fox, Sheik, or Ike, and I've not seen it performed with them, so they should most likely be removed if no one can provide a video of them performing it. Scr7Scr7 sig.png(talk · contribs) 17:16, 17 September 2013 (EDT)

Can Little Mac perform any of these jumps?[edit]

I'm curious, because he's known for his terrible air game. Also the article says ANYONE can perform the Hyrule Jump, I'm just wondering if anyone can test it with him. The Arnge GreenMega.jpg I'm no rubble monkey! (Contributions) 11:00, 20 December 2014 (EST)

Yes, he can, though it's predictably not easy (drop down from the ledge, jump, Jolt Haymaker, hope): I've tested all newcomers and all of them can Hyrule Jump, though I'm not sure about all the possible Mii builds (they all can in at least some build). I think it would be more interesting to check who can Reverse Hyrule Jump and if some veterans lost the ability. I can confirm Shulk with Jump and Palutena with Lightweight + Warp, but there are several who barely miss and might be able to make it if controlled by more skilled players (candidates: Duck Hunt, Pac-Man with all the trampoline jumps, Greninja, Dark Pit/Pit counting his new recovery), and several more might be able to do it considering custom moves. --Menshay (talk) 20:11, 11 January 2015 (EST)
I tested the Reverse Hyrule Jump with the characters you listed and was able to do it with all but Greninja, without the use of custom moves. Duck Hunt has to fly straight up into the stage just to left of the ledge. Pac-Man needs to use his side-b diagonally up and right, before using the trampoline which will need all 3 uses. Dark Pit/Pit have to use all their jumps going right then need to use their up-b straight upwards.Justinjustin7 (talk) 06:55, 22 February 2015 (EST)

Custom Moves and the Reverse Hyrule Jump[edit]

As currently listed, Palutena can use Lightweight to complete the Reverse Hyrule Jump. As Lightweight is a custom move (albeit one unlocked from the start), should we list procedures for other characters that can only make the jump with custom moves? b2jammer (talk) 11:21, 28 June 2015 (EDT)

Merge[edit]

Discuss. I'm neutral, but let's see what everyone thinks. RoyboyX Talk 19:58, 24 August 2016 (EDT)

Oppose Hyrule jump is still pretty notable. While it could work as a merged section on Stage jump, I still feel like Hyrule Jump deserves a separate page. Serpent SKSig.png King 22:41, 24 August 2016 (EDT)
Weak oppose per SK. Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Contribs) 14:31, 25 August 2016 (EDT)
For Merge As the prompt says they are both extremely small and Hyrule Jump could very easily work as a sub section. Destructodon (talk) 17:25, 25 August 2016 (EDT)
Oppose I agree with Serpent King. Since this technique is still pretty notable, I would still want this article to be separated from Stage jump. The amazing owen (Talk) (Contribs) 18:05, 25 August 2016 (EDT)
Oppose. Per Serpent King like everyone else and being a small article doesn't mean that it should be merged. Dots (talk) 60% tech skill, 30% crazy, 10% you name it. :P The Sigma 20:53, 29 August 2016 (EDT)
