Forums

Please do not make forums in which your only contribution is the title. There needs to be actual text on the page that you can then sign. Toomai Glittershine The Victorious 16:35, 9 December 2014 (EST)

Unsigned template

You got to do two things to make it work properly.

1. Add the timestamp of the post. It goes after the username.
2. Subst: it.

If you do it properly, it should look like this:

{{subst:unsigned|Example|00:00, 1 January 2000 (EST)}}

Replace "example" with the name of the user who wrote the comment and the time with the timestamp of when the user posted the post. Rtzxy Reflect! 16:45, 19 December 2014 (EST)

Yep, you replaced the thing that automatically puts in the user who add the template's signature with your own. As I said, the template automatically adds your signature. As for the welcome template, to insert it, you put {{subst:welcome}} and nothing else. Simple as that. Rtzxy Reflect! 23:31, 19 December 2014 (EST)

It's a minor mistake, that I easily fixed. Remember to put {{subst:welcome}} next time.

Welcoming Tips

Keep in mind that only welcome new users if they made a few useful contributions. Do not welcome anyone who adds pointless information only to have them reverted by multiple users or ones who do not adhere to the rules. ZeldaStarfoxfan2164 (talk) is bad for me 17:09, 21 December 2014 (EST)
