:By my definition, an attack is a move that is designed to damage an opponent (i.e. has damaging hitboxes); that's why they're called "special moves" instead of "special attacks", since not all special moves can be considered attacks (like Extreme Speed). - By my definition, an attack is a move that is designed to damage an opponent (i.e. has damaging hitboxes); that's why they're called "special moves" instead of "special attacks", since not all special moves can be considered attacks (like Extreme Speed).
