Princess (disambiguation)
Certain characters in the game have a body type internally noted as 'girl'. These characters have long dresses or gowns, which have their own physics and animations. With most of these characters depicted as princesses in their home series, many people refer to them as "Princesses". Aside from Peach and Daisy, all Princess type characters have unique attributes, movesets, and animations, although most of them are generally tall and lightweight with very slow falling and jumping speeds.

On a related note, Daisy is a clone of Peach in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, so she is identical to the latter in terms of her physics, damage, knockback, hitboxes, hurtbox, and frame data for all moves. As a result, both characters in that game can be collectively referred together in competitive play to as either "Princesses" or "Paisy" due to their equivalence, in a similar manner to "Plumbers", "Space animals", "Pits", "Marcina", "Chroy", and "Belmonts". However, most players prefer to instead refer to only Peach alone.
