Damage and Knockback

Mario's pummel is a headbutt which deals 3.25% damage, and, as with all pummels, no knockback. This move can be used 2-3 times on characters with 0% damage, but this increases as the character's damage increases. Dr. Mario shares this move as well, although it deals 3.64% damage. Luigi also uses this move for his pummel, although it deals 3.2% damage.
