VoiD, also known as gsmVoiD, is a Smash 4 Sheik main from Kapolei, Hawaii who is currently residing in Southern California. VoiD is widely considered to be one of the best Smash 4 players in the world and one of the best Sheik players in the world (along with Mr. R). He is known for his versatile combo game which includes perfect pivot usage and his ability to quickly react to his opponent's options which further contributes to his creativity as a player. Despite not traveling outside of Hawaii for tournaments up until Apex 2015, VoiD has improved very quickly as a player and has taken sets off of the likes of Ally, Abadango, MKLeo, Larry Lurr, Mr. R, ANTi, Ranai, and Marss. He is a very consistent player, having secured top 8 at most of the 2016 major tournaments, such as 4th at GENESIS 3, EVO 2016, and Super Smash Con 2016, and 5th at Pound 2016, The Big House 6, and UGC Smash Open.
VoiD is currently ranked 8th on the Panda Global SSB4 Rankings and 2nd on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings. He was formerly ranked 1st on the Hawaii Smash 4 Power Rankings.
On January 5th, 2016, 2GGaming announced they would be sponsoring VoiD[1]. On June 16th, he was picked up by Counter Logic Gaming as their fourth smasher[2].
