Technicals is a YouTuber from Las Vegas, Nevada, who initially was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Fox player, where he was formerly ranked 8th on the Las Vegas Smash 4 Power Rankings.

YouTube career
Technicals began uploading YouTube videos in 2015, mainly focusing on competitive Toon Link in Smash 4. He would also upload clips of his Toon Link on his side channel, which has since gone inactive. He identifies himself with the title of "Black iDubbz", using edgy humour in the style of his old content. His content style has particularly drawn accusations of transphobia and racism, resulting in him being a divisive figure in the community.
The first active video of Technicals's modern content was uploaded in August 2018, criticising JK for his actions following an incident involving his attempted vehicular homicide of Technicals and his friends. This was following up from a Twitlonger[1] that Technicals released that same year, which reported said incident and resulted in a local ban. At the time of the video's upload, JK had been allowed back into the Las Vegas Smash 4 community, following the community backroom unbanning him, believing he had changed; however, Technicals argued that he hadn't, citing his unapologetic nature, self-centred belief of being safe with the other players, and lack of communication with the victims.
After this video, Technicals branched out into commentary and rant style videos, with many centered around criticizing other smashers or investigating the cases of smashers embroiled in controversy. Some of these videos have been made unlisted, such as commentary on Pierce. During this time, Technicals would criticise Ally, ESAM, false, and more; he would also cover topics such as tamim's accusations of pedophilia in the Smash community.
The first video from Technicals to gain significant traction was a third video on ESAM in 2020, which was later followed up by another video that gained even more traction; in these videos he accuses ESAM of hypocrisy for calling out other figures within the community for inappropriate behavior such as racism and sexism, despite ESAM's past behavior being very similar. This video prompted ESAM to make a response video apologizing for his behavior back then, as well as post a Twitter thread apologizing to MJG and FOW for promoting false claims about them.
Technicals would gain further notoriety for his series of YouTube videos covering the misconduct allegations within the competitive Smash community from 2020 and onwards. Following this, Technicals would heavily cover Jisu's issues with ZeRo, later taking ZeRo's side and promoting his unban and return to the community. He would also interview players like ANTi regarding allegations made against them, cover the "Sky House" and Hax$ controversies, campaign for community-wide bans on Samsora and Nairo, and hit out against Leffen and VGBootCamp. He has also collaborated with theFranChise.
