Snake, why are you even in Brawl? Slither off to PSASBR instead. Toastltimatum 14:55, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
Snake is way overrated. Toadat9021doh (talk) 20:32, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
I don't really like Snake, Samus I'm neutral on. 69.112.244.140 21:43, 18 August 2012 (EDT)dragon
She has great, erm, speed and weapons.Davsto (talk) 08:00, 19 August 2012 (EDT)
ZSS was the first character I ever beat in Brawl, +10 memory points to ZSS and I hate using Snake. -5 slowness points to Snake. 10 to negative 5, barely a contest.--99.249.196.42 10:59, 19 August 2012 (EDT)
Zero suit samus can jump behind snake at anytime to attack from well behind plus her speed is a huge advantage. PengyPenguin (talk) 19:32, 19 August 2012 (EDT)
She should be her own separate character and not the result of Samus's final smash. ChuckNorris 11:49, 20 August 2012 (EDT)
Three reasons I vote for her: A. Free items at the start of a match! B. Faster and more agile. And C. She's 10th on my list of my Brawl top ten. Snake isn't even on there. DarkFox01:SmashinginSummer 13:10, 20 August 2012 (EDT)
Not as cheap. 67.173.145.76 21:49, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
Z.S.S. was the first character I used when I started playing Brawl. Always begins a match with power suit parts at my disposal and can score KO's decently. Snake's alright, but his smashes and aerials are a chore to use correctly. 71.199.149.250 23:36, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
Zero Suit Samus should be her own character and not part of a Final Smash; I hate passing up Smash Balls when playing as Samus. JamesHeartless 12:12, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
If I vote for ZSS, people might get... the *ahem* wrong impression of me... AirConditionerFile:Accoolx.png 13:16, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
I enjoy playing as Snake. Also, his DACUS is great. Shanderu 14:22, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
Really like both characters, but Snake has the Smash Taunt. Krazy4Krash (talk) 22:58, 18 August 2012 (EDT)

I think the vote sections are showing the wrong names...ShanicpowerMake it rain! 11:42, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
Just a note to one of the Snake votes: ZSS is playable without using a final smash, but you have to hold down the Z button while selecting Samus. Mr. Anontalk 12:24, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
One of the votes for Samus has this misconception too. NakedSnake 12:46, 20 August 2012 (EDT)
If I remember correctly, this was my suggestion, right? Mr. Anontalk 14:42, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
Just checked, it was not. Mr. Anontalk 14:43, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
How do you check that? 194.17.116.198 03:06, 22 August 2012 (EDT)
I quickly scanned the history of the suggestions page and I found when the matchup was recently suggested. I was one of its earliest supporters, but I did not propose it. Mr. Anontalk 23:54, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
@Anon on what controller are you talking about? On the GC controller it is R not Z. LightningBlue 18:51, 24 August 2012 (EDT)
The fatnose has quite a few similar stages attached to his world, and here's a pair of them vying for attention. Both platformed, both with rescue service, both with unique visual styling - which popular tournament stage gets the nod?
Votes for Yoshi's Story
This stage is a classic. I have a Yoshi toy from McDonalds that plays part of the song heard on this stage. ChuckNorris 12:14, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
Pity vote. RickTommy (talk) 22:11, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
This stage is a starter in Melee, and I use it often unlike the Brawl version. Also, it's a great stage for Marth. NakedSnake 13:28, 26 August 2012 (EDT)
Here's a story about Yoshi. One day, Yoshi was strolling through a subway, until a train came by. Yoshi got on the train, and saw a Hondourian Bat. Yoshi ate the Hondourian Bat. It was delicious. When the train stopped, Yoshi got out, and when he left the subway, he found himself on The Bahamas. Yoshi ordered a sunbed online, and when it came, he basked in the sunlight. Yoshi laid there until he fell asleep, thus ending his story. When he next woke up, he saw a Flying Shy Guy holding a Red Coin, but that, my friends, is a story for another day. Toastltimatum 20:37, 26 August 2012 (EDT)
This one was tough. Both have amazing (although simple) layouts, and while Yoshi's Story's is a little more generic having three soft platforms in a triangle patern (two at the bottom, one centered at the top), I find Yoshi's Story to be superior. It's more fun to fight on and its environment is more engaging, like its predecessor's. Blue Ninjakoopa(Talk) 22:07, 29 August 2012 (EDT)
I thought Yoshi's Island was based off Yoshi's Island DS, apparently it's based off the first one, you know, the lamer one, the one with only one baby. If you don't see what I'm talking about, imagine a Pikmin game where it's just red Pikmin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supersmash4 (talk • contribs) 13:06, 26 August 2012 (EDT)

Votes for Yoshi's Island (SSBB)
This one is based off the snes game. 204.191.136.245 23:11, 24 August 2012 (EDT)
It changes seasons, and to me, that alone better represents the game it was based on than the Yoshi's Story stage does. Toadat9021doh (talk) 00:23, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
I prefer the art style of this one. 110.174.90.69 04:42, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
I played Yoshi's Island first, giving it more nostalgia factor than Yoshi's Story, despite them being equally great games IMO. Bowzerdude- Pure Epicness! 06:42, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
As per above, plus shutouts are awesome. 24.168.107.148 10:00, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
I like this stage!! This stage reminds me of the game I have: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island!! I also like the songs!! TheAwesome 12:39, 25 August 2012 (EDT)
I like the stage better not just making a dumb reasoning of "I don't have the other game so this one is better". LightningBlue 19:35, 26 August 2012 (EDT)

@LightningBlue: I take offense to that. The rules do say that you don't need a valid reason to vote. AirConditionerFile:Accoolx.png 20:27, 26 August 2012 (EDT)
Exactly. This is a popularity contest and nothing more. Krazy4Krash (talk) 01:53, 27 August 2012 (EDT)
@The Cheese Why don't you say "The Cheese Says" anymore? TheAwesome 18:25, 29 August 2012 (EDT)
Oh give me a break. I'm saying an opinion. And AirCon I never said it like AIRCON Y U DO THAT? There isn't and doesn't need to be a rule, but if you wanna state a reasoning make it better than what you guys said above. LightningBlue 01:59, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Calling something a "dumb reason" is not an opinion, it's attacking someone else's reasoning for their own choice. Anybody can state whatever reason they want to vote whatever way they want to. NakedSnake 23:39, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
How do Melee stages always seem to do so badly in these matches? The only time I can think of when a Melee stage won a match was when Pokemon Stadium beat Pokemon Stadium 2, and even that was a pretty close win. Toadat9021doh (talk) 14:20, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Fresh off a previous legendary 3-way, here's another featuring the pixies with 100's across the board. Will the genetic anomaly, time-traveling fairy, or Luma-like traveller rise up?
He appears the most out of the three for me, which is convient, and maybe he could be the ancestor of every Pokemon.Toadat9021doh (talk) 14:25, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Fourth Favorite behind Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo. Also, Mew was able to get into Ubers in the past four generations while comparing to Celebi who was only uber in Gen II and Jirachi was never a uber. DotsTheBomb 15:17, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
While I love all three of these Pokémon I'm going to have to vote for Mew. I just like him best for some reason. Maybe it's because he's just so darn cute. ChuckNorris 15:41, 1 September 2012 (EDT)

I don't know or care much about the Pokemon series, but Mewtwo is pretty awesome so Mew gets my vote. NakedSnake 23:40, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Mew is a classic Pokemon, plus I prefer CD drops. 110.174.90.69 03:01, 2 September 2012 (EDT)

It is cute. <3 LightningBlue 22:02, 3 September 2012 (EDT)
It must win. ChaosMew161 (talk) 18:27, 7 September 2012 (EDT)
One of the most notable legendary Pokémon, and a plethora of rumors and glitches shroud it in mystery and intrigue. Plus, it holds the DNA of every single Pokémon and its own DNA gives rise to one of the coolest and most powerful legendary Pokémon in existence, Mewtwo. Also, its leitmotif in the first Pokémon movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back, is just so beautiful. Mew edges out Jirachi (which has a wonderful design, ability, and signature move in its own right) and Celebi for me. Fenyx4 (talk) 21:38, 7 September 2012 (EDT)

Johto. Generation II. Those are my reasons. 67.173.145.76 19:20, 4 September 2012 (EDT)
After unlocking all the stages and getting 5000 KO's, it's worth it to throw a lot of Poké Balls until Celebi appears, seeing as you get three things for its appearance: a bonus, a notice, and a trophy. RickTommy (talk) 22:13, 7 September 2012 (EDT)
The star of the second best Pokémon movie (behind Manaphy), and my second favourite legendary in general (behind Phione). Also, after I'd gotten all the CD's and random trophies, Jirachi was the only useful Pokémon. Toastltimatum 14:01, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Jirachi is useful in OU competitive battling in Pokemon, while Mew is overpowered and Celebi... eh. Shoot me for bad logic. 24.168.110.115 20:08, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Stickers everywhere! 204.191.136.245 01:07, 2 September 2012 (EDT)
Oh crap, I meant Manaphy. Sorry for the confusion. ChuckNorris 16:53, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Yeah, I think Manaphy should be included. It's a "baby legendary" just like Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi, the only difference being that it isn't part psychic-type. They all have base 100 stats, too. But then again, Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi only drop items while Manaphy uses a move that affects the players. Blue Ninjakoopa(Talk) 17:45, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
I agree; it would have been nice to see Manaphy face off against Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi in this fight... Fenyx4 (talk) 21:38, 7 September 2012 (EDT)
