Super Mario Sunshine (スーパーマリオサンシャイン, Sūpā Mario Sanshain) is a platform game developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It was the first game on the GameCube to star Mario.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Delfino Plaza, the main "hub world" of Super Mario Sunshine, is a stage in Brawl, and F.L.U.D.D., which was first featured in this game, replaces Mario's previous Down B, the Mario Tornado. Also, there is a sticker of a Pianta, a creature featured in the game.
Trivia
- It was rumored (and later proven to be false) that if a player had Super Mario Sunshine data on the same memory card as his or her Super Smash Bros. Melee data, an extra trophy could be unlocked. This rumor may have originated from the fact that having a Pikmin save earned you a Captain Olimar (trophy). The trophy in question happens to be a caped Mario and Yoshi trophy.
