*SmashWiki has significantly tightened its standards for what is considered "Top level" after being way too loose with the label before, so most players labelled as such for any game within their infobox need to be reviewed and accordingly downgraded to the newly added "Upper high level" rating or even the "High level" rating. Refer to our guidelines for how the skill ratings should be applied. | |||
|This is a recent update so there is still much work to be done. When this first went in effect, there were nearly 1200 players labelled "Top level" in at least one game, that number is now a bit below 1000 but should be much lower. The majority of ''Ultimate'' players labelled as "Top level" have been reviewed, but other games have had a minority of their players reviewed so far. | |||

A project is an organized effort to direct attention towards particular substandard areas of the wiki that need improvement. This page features every ongoing wiki project for editors looking for something to help out with.

Ultimate has been completed and some characters just need an update. Every Smash 64 character article has the proper format and been trimmed down, but most of the blurbs are overly basic and need to be elaborated on. Every Project M character article is listed as complete, but many of the character articles still do not have the proper formatting. Most Brawl pages, plus a few Melee and Smash 4 pages, are still not complete. |
