Using Show Preview[edit]

Hello, Weegeegaming, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example, when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep Recent Changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, RickTommy 09:35, March 25, 2020 (EDT)

Just a reminder. It's right here:

Try not to make too many consecutive edits, especially to your userpage because too many edits to your userpage is discouraged. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 08:02, April 3, 2020 (EDT)

Userspace edits[edit]

Hello. Recently I've noticed you've made a lot of edits to your userspace. While it's not too big of a deal right now, we still expect users to balance between userspace and mainspave edits, especially if the wiki status is yellow. Users who edit their userspace too much can be at risk of probation, we're not a personal profile. I recommend slowing down on userspace edits a bit, thanks Image for my signiture icon. Ok Weegeegaming (talk) 22:22, April 4, 2020 (EDT)

Elevating this to an admin warning. Please make substantial edits to the mainspace before continuing to edit your userspace or you will be probated. Thank you and have a nice day. SerpentKing 10:22, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

Smasher pages[edit]

As per SW:SMASHER, all smasher pages must have tournament results upon creation; if not added, it would be considered no effort. Even if you couldn't find a lot, 2-3 would suffice. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:53, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

One more reminder[edit]

Policy.png Reminder: Please use the Show preview button located next to the Save page button to preview your edits. This prevents consecutive edits to the same page from clogging up the recent changes list.

You occasionally make a lot of minor edits in succession still. Each time you save it logs into the recent changes list and makes it harder for us to keep track of edits. You don't need to click save every time you make a small edit. If you wish to make edits to multiple sections use the "Edit this page" link at the top of the page. Image for my signiture icon. For Ultimate template[edit]

We only have for templates for the Smash 4 games since it's too complicated to type out correctly. Please don't make one for Ultimate. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:44, April 7, 2020 (EDT)

Template: Ness[edit]

Uhh... why do we need a template for him? You can easily just use a regular link for Ness in general ([[Ness]]), or if you want to link to a Ness article for a specific game just do {{SSBU|Ness}} which links here. I accedentaly put the SSBU in front of Ness(on the right). Sorry. WeegeegamingLuigiHeadSSBU.pngNessHeadSSBU.png 06:39, April 8, 2020 (EDT)

Smasher pages[edit]

Hey, first I would like to thank you for making those Smasher pages; keep up the good work! While I'm at it, you should take a look at SW:NOTABLE, which is the guidelines on who gets a page or not. Most of the pages you created fit the guideline except Memeguel, who doesn't have great placements and is not PR'd on a regional level. Again, great job so far! CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:59, April 8, 2020 (EDT)

Also, please put a bit more effort into your Smasher pages. Try to add at least 3 more tournaments before saving the page. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 09:18, April 15, 2020 (EDT)
Third time bumping this. Put more effort into your pages. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 09:48, April 16, 2020 (EDT)

Your signature[edit]

You might wanna change it up a bit. You can't use mainspace images directly in your signature, but you can reupload them under a different filename for your own usage. Aidan, the Rurouni 17:20, April 9, 2020 (EDT)

Done (didnt really want the images) Weegeegaming|talk 08:21, April 10, 2020 (EDT)

Duplicate images[edit]

I'm not sure if you are aware but your gifs for Kirby's side and up special already exist and can be found here Category:Hitbox_images_(Kirby_SSBU). There's no need to make duplicates.--CanvasK (talk) 00:32, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

Uhh... Okay... Weegeegaming|talk 00:36, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

I can't seem to save it.Weegeegaming|talk 00:42, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

A few pointers[edit]

  1. I guess I haven't explained what should be in a Smasher page, so I'll do it here. According to SW:SMASHER, a page needs an infobox, an intro, tournaments, and categories at bare minimum. While you do include those, they are still lacking most information, such as skill, location (aside from country), most tournament results (in fact, the last few pages you've only added the less notable results), and categories. I would appreciate if you would take a look at the linked guideline first before making any other Smasher page.
  2. The welcome template is only given for new non-IP users who have made a few good faith edits on the wiki. You shouldn't give it to an editor who has only made 1 minor edit.

This?[edit]

I didn’t know knockback can be expressed in numbers. But why you edit that in? SonDanielAn icon for my signature.A signature head icon. (talk page) 01:11, April 27, 2020 (EDT)

Welll...I saw it on the Roy (SSBM) page, so i thought i would add it in. Weegeegamingicon.pngWeegeegaming|talkWeegeegamingicon.png 01:42, April 27, 2020 (EDT)

Notability[edit]

Please do not create pages for players that do not fit the notability guidelines. Thanks! CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 08:58, May 7, 2020 (EDT)

A tiny userbox mishap[edit]

Hi weegeegaming, I noticed a tiny error on your userbox page. If you want the solution click Edit and use this thing:

Low-effort articles[edit]

Your recently created Knuckles (P+) article is simply an empty base for a fighter page with very little content added otherwise. Per SW:CNA, creating these kinds of articles is not permitted. If you want others to contribute to a incomplete page, make it a draft on your userspace first, then mainspace it once it's complete. Don't create an article just so it exists.
