Kong Karry (リフティング, Lifting) is Donkey Kong's forward throw.
Overview[edit]
Instructional Quotes[edit]
trophy description |
Being the strongest simian around, DK has the upper hand once he grabs an opponent. He can even lift his foe up and make him or her an unwilling traveling companion; if DK grabs you, shake your Control Stick as fast as you can to break his grip.

fighter tips |
Donkey Kong can pick up opponents and carry them around! Try to throw them before they shake free, though.
fighter tips |
You'll toss opponents diagonally upward when throwing forward, toss them high when throwing backward, and launch them low when tossed down. Throwing them up is a great start to a combo.
Being a gorilla, which are known for their incredible strength, Donkey Kong would presumably be able to carry fighters. Although he has never been known to have the ability to carry his enemies in his home series, Donkey Kong has, especially in the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, been known to carry barrels, in a similar manner to the Kong Karry. He can pick up and carry these barrels indefinitely before throwing them, which is likely what inspired his ability to move around while carrying his foes.
