MELEE-FC is a tournament series hosted by the Ship of Fools. Four incarnations each set a new Melee tournament attendance record, with MELEE-FC1 featuring 97 entrants, MELEE-FC3 featuring 186 entrants, MELEE-FC6 featuring 205 entrants, and MELEE-FC Diamond featuring 256 entrants. After a five-year hiatus, the series returned in 2012 with MELEE-FC10R Legacy, which also included one of the first Project M national tournaments. There were other FC tournaments such as FC2, FC4, and FC5, with FC2 only receiving four attendants.
