Level 1 of Target Smash!! in Brawl

The target is an object with a bullseye design, appearing in the bonus games Target Smash!!, Smash Run and Target Blast.

The targets are red and white in SSB64 and Melee and each character has their own level to break the targets, but in Brawl, all charcter break the targets on the same level and the target colors vary by stage: blue/white on the easy stage, green/white on the normal stage, yellow/white on hard, orange/white on very hard, and red/white on intense.

Targets also appear in the Target Blast and Smash Run modes in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

In Target Smash!!

In this game mode, ten targets are scattered throughout the stage. The game is won when all the targets are broken.

Increasing the difficulty shrinks the targets.

In Smash Run

Target Smash is available as one of the challenges. Similarly, the character has to break all the targets in the area within a time limit to succeed.

In Target Blast

There are fourteen targets in this game. A score is rewarded depending on how the targets are broken.

Trophy description

Target trophy from Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The Target Trophy in Melee.

This is one of the targets you must hit and destroy in a bonus stage of Super Smash Bros. Melee. All bonus stages are specially designed to test the individual abilities of each fighter. Clearing the target-breaking levels requires an ultimate combination of skill, timing, and the specific techniques of each character.
