Spike (stage element)

Spikes are recurring stage elements in the Super Smash Bros. series. When touched they deal some damage and knockback.

Spikes appear in the following stages:

• several Subspace Emissary stages.
• PictoChat (one version only).
• the Smash Run stage.
• Gerudo Valley, at the bottom of the stage while the bridge is broken.
• The Great Cave Offensive.
• Palutena's Temple.

They can also be used as stage elements in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Stage builder, where they come in 1x1, 2x2 and 3x3 sizes.
