Sonic Blade (ソニックレイヴ, Sonic Rave) is Sora's side special move.
Overview
Sora dashes forward with a quick thrusting attack of his Keyblade. During the move, the player can mash the button down to make him use it 3 times, though it decreases its range with each use. He can also move in any direction he wants as along as the player mashes.
Origin
Sonic Blade is a special ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. In the original game, the player can press the Rave button up to 6 times to attack multiple enemies at a mid range, and then select Blast to finish it off, costing 2 MP to use and 3 AP to equip. It is obtained when speaking to Cloud Strife after defeating Cerberus in Olympus Coliseum's Preliminary Tournament. In later games and in the HD 1.5 ReMIX version, it is implemented as Reaction Commands. This move is only used on the ground, unlike in Ultimate.
