Shinku is an American smasher who mains Ice Climbers. He is one of the newest members and longest running tournament goers from a old school crew from 2003 called "Team Dycer" or "Dyce".

Ever since the release of brawl, Shinku just couldn't quite get the game down. His biggest trouble was simply finding the right character to adjust with, since brawl is a whole new game altogether. "Fox" which is one of his favorites, just isn't the same, but more similar to his N64 predecessor, which is a major disappointment to alot of fox users in melee. Brawl may seem different, but with out wave dashing, it took some serious adjustment. so then he tries ice climbers. they have ability to take entire life from 0 to death, with chaingrabbes and crazy desynch techniques. this is the answer he was looking for. yayuhhz?

Shinku was a smasher from Maryland who mained Marth in Melee. He was one of the longest running tournament goers from an old school crew from 2003 called "Team Dycer" or "Dyce".

Shinku originally played Smash just for fun, but when two guys from Dycer known as Young D and Mario&Luigi showed him a few advanced techniques, Shinku got hooked onto the competitive gameplay, joining the crew and beginning his career in competitive Smash. He made his tournament debut at CyberCon Xion back in 2005 at Rockville, watching the top East Coast players battle with amazement.

Shinku was known by other smashers for his friendly personality and fox-clothing appearance. He often placed near the middle in tournaments, but he enjoys the competition and entertainment, and he has occasionally placed among the upper echelon. His most successful result was 2nd place at Katsucon 2007, losing to SS4 Ricky's Link, as many people watched.

His favorite Marth players from Melee are Mew2King, Ken, Azen, Neo, and Kizzu, a Brazilian smasher ranked in the top 5 in Brazil. He plays frequently with other Dycer members and with InfernoOmni. He did his best to mimic Mew2King with his playstyle, at the expense of being derided by others, although he would take the derision as a sign of progress. In doubles, he instead mostly plays Fox.

In Brawl, Shinku competed early on, however he just couldn't quite get the game down. His biggest trouble was simply finding the right character to adjust with, he in particular found Fox to be disappointing with how he turned out. Shinku would end up trying the Ice Climbers, and found himself to enjoy them with their technical desynching and ability to zero-death with chain grabs, becoming his new main for Brawl. Despite this, he would end up dropping Brawl within its first couple years, and go back to playing only Melee. He would continue to play Melee up to the mid-2010s before he retired from competitive Smash.
