Drex is a CenCal Smasher, manager of the crew Fast Forward, and tournament organizer. He is a long time member of CenCal smash, participating in the scene since its grass roots, and after taking a break from the competitive scene he would enter back in 2013. He struggled to find a main character upon his return to compete in the current metagame, but recently began using Sheik in competition.
