The Slingshot Crash is a glitch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As the name implies, the glitch crashes the game when preformed. The glitch is preformed by 2 players, one controlling Villager, and the other Isabelle. One player (either Villager or Isabelle) will do there Forward air or Back air (the slingshot) and the other player with have to catch the slingshot with there Neutral special, the Pocket. Once caught, the player currently pocketing the slingshot ball will use pocket to toss the slingshot ball to the other player. The other player should catch it with their pocket, and then throw the slingshot ball at the player they received it from. Once the person who had received the slingshot ball is about to pocket it, the game crashes and a Nintendo Switch style error screen will pop up with the sound effect associated with the error screen. This glitch however cannot be preformed with two Villagers or two Isabelle's, it has to be preformed with Villager and Isabelle and no duplicate fighters.

The Slingshot Crash was a glitch in the early versions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As the name implies, the glitch crashed the game when performed. The glitch was performed by two players — one controlling Villager, and the other Isabelle. One player (either Villager or Isabelle) needed to do their forward or back aerial (the slingshot) and the other player had to catch the slingshot with their neutral special, Pocket. Once caught, the player pocketing the slingshot ball would use Pocket to toss the slingshot ball to the other player, which the other player would catch with their Pocket. Once the person who had received the slingshot ball was about to throw it, the game would crash. For unknown reasons, this glitch could not be performed with two Villagers or two Isabelles.

The glitch was patched with update 2.0.0.
