- Hit 1's near hitbox are smaller (4u/4u → 2u/2u).
- Hit 1's far hitboxes extend further (x offset/stretch: (10/1)/(4.1/1) → (11/4); z position/stretch; 1 → 2/-0.5).
- Hit 1 has lower set knockback (45/45/31 → 28/28/28) and its angles have been altered 40°/75°/84° (downward) → 78°/10°/40°), allowing it to connect more reliably.
- Hit 2 has larger hitboxes (3.5u/2u → 4u/3u). The far hitbox has been moved closer to Shulk however (x offset: 22 → 21) to compensate for its horizontal range.
- Damage (5% (hit 1)/12.5% (hit 2) → 5.5%/13%).
