Ryu performs a flying kick. One of his more commonly used moves, due to its [[sweetspot]] having high knockback and [[shield damage]], but can be followed up with another forward air, dealing massive damage. The move also has a [[sourspot]] that can be set up with a [[footstool]]. The sourspot also can be followed up woth a footstool, allowing a lock of sourspotted forward aerials. Alternatively, the player could simply follow it up with a neutral air or up air. Based off of Ryu's directional jumping heavy kick in ''Street Fighter II''.

Ryu performs a flying kick. Its sweetspot has high knockback, while the sourspot deals additional shield damage and is great for combos, to the point where it can lead into itself. Based off of Ryu's directional jumping heavy kick from Street Fighter II.
