Meta Knight slashes in front of himself with a moderately large [[hitbox]], dealing 12% damage. It has vertical knockback and is fairly powerful, being a reliable finisher. The move can also be used after the initial upswing {{mvsub|Meta Knight|SSBB|up special|alt=Shuttle Loop}}, but doing it that way will cause Meta Knight to become [[helpless]]. This is one of moves that bans him from most tournaments. It was removed from SSB4.

The move can also be used after the initial upswing Shuttle Loop, but doing it that way will cause Meta Knight to become helpless.
