Overview
Luigi bashfully reaches out with one hand. Like Mario's grab, Luigi's has below average range, but is among the fastest grabs in the game and has relatively quick interruptibility compared to the rest (with only Jigglypuff, Pikachu and Sheik's grabs having faster interruptibility). However, Luigi's dash grab also grants him a boost forward, improving its utility for approaching as this enables him to grab characters with greater efficiency than Mario. Combined with the noticeably high reward in his throw game, especially thanks to his down throw, this makes Luigi's grabs extremely important for his success in competitive play.
