Overview[edit]
Hero does an outward slash to knock opponents away. Gains 6.4 MP on hit, 7.616 on shield.
The move has decently wide range, hitting high and low. As a result, the move has decent defensive utility, though the first hit has to be gone through first. In addition, the move has a good chunk of lag. Unlike Hit 1, it is possible for this to rebound as well. Regardless, the move makes a good way of resetting neutral and ensuring Hero remains in a good state.
This is among Hero's least safe moves on shield, being -31. As such, it is very punishable if the move is baited out. Many out of shield options that are otherwise niche become perfectly valid punishes, which could lead to a KO.
