Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that week. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character.. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

1. You can only vote once.
2. Logged in users, vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for. Anonymous users, vote under the anon votes underneath the fighter you are voting for.
3. When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.
4. ALWAYS put # when you vote so it can help us count the votes!!
5. ALWAYS put in your signature with ~~~~. This is required for both signed on users and anon users.
6. Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.
7. DON'T LEAVE A SPACE BETWEEN YOUR POST AND THE POSTS ABOVE AND BELOW YOURS!

The two fastest characters of Brawl have come to race in the Arena. Fresh off his victory against Olimar, can Captain Falcon keep up with the world's fastest hedgehog?

Comments @Meta-Kirb actually the blue falcon in f-zero gx can reach a way higher spped than 1236km with the use of boosts, so Sonic is not as fast as f-zero racers unassisted. 220.253.53.165 05:07, 4 May 2009 (UTC) Maybe it can, but Super Sonic would make up for it. I don't play F-Zero, so I got that number from Mew2King's page of statistics. Either way, Sonic is way past cool! Sonic wouldn't have been in if Snake hadn't been in; Snake wouldn't have been in if it wasn't for the fact that he was begged to be in Melee, but the game was too far in development; and he wouldn't have been begged to be in Melee if the original SSB hadn't been so popular.
