"E for All" is a Los Angeles event where a demo version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl was playable. The event has been shortened to "E4A" by fans.

"The first E for All event was be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on October 18, 2007. This event displayed the first ever public playable version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The playable characters during the first E for All were Samus, Sonic, Pit, Donkey Kong, Meta Knight, Mario, Link, Fox, Pikachu, Diddy Kong, Ike, Peach, Zero Suit Samus (through Samus' Final Smash), Yoshi and Bowser. The Random selection appears as a starting option and features as a ? sign.

The new things revealed at E for All included Sonic, Meta-Knight, Peach, and Ike's final smash, the stage of Norfair, and many new and returning items.
