"E for All" is a Los Angeles event where a demo version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be playable. The event has been shortened to "E4A" by fans.
Quote from Masahiro Sakurai (Sora Ltd.):
"The forthcoming E for All event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center wich begun October 18. And it appears that this event will display the first ever public playable version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl! I am planning on having people play the game—but with limited character selection."
The playable characters are Samus, Sonic, Pit, Donkey Kong, Meta Knight, Mario, Link, Fox, Pikachu, Diddy Kong, Ike, Peach, Zero Suit Samus (through Samus' Final Smash), Yoshi and Bowser. The Random selection appears as a starting option and features as a ? sign.
