I am a Smash 64 player from Mexico, and a small contributor to this wiki. Nice to meet you. I also play Melee online through Anther's Ladder, not as often as Smash 64 though. I am very active on the Smash FU server (previously on The Galaxy), and I've played SSB64 online for years, since late 2007.
Characters
Yoshi
Yoshi is probably my strongest character as I can do well against most of the cast with him. He possesses a strong edge-guarding ability, as well as a good recovery with his second jump (flutter) that makes him invulnerable to most attacks, or reduce knockback if Yoshi has a lot of damage. He has a decent horizontal mobility, too.

Samus
She used to be my main for quite some time, and she does well against floaty characters, such as Kirby, Jigglypuff or Pikachu. The fact that Samus cannot be easily combo'ed also saves her from being KO'd relatively quick. Screw Attack also has invincibility frames at the start, which can help to escape from combos. Matches against fast-fallers are very difficult though, notably Falcon.

Jigglypuff
Jigglypuff, on the other hand, has good matchups against fast-fallers, but she works more as an alternative to my other characters.
